Writing for search engines and AI assistants
What the kit generates for crawlers, and the few Notion fields worth filling in.
Every post page ships complete in the HTML: title, description, canonical URL and structured data, built from the same Notion row that renders the article.
Fields worth filling in
- SEO title and Meta description: optional overrides for search results.
- Cover alt: a plain description of the cover. Leave it empty only for decorative images.
- AI image: tick it for generated covers, and the alt text says so.
What crawlers get
- BlogPosting, breadcrumb and site data in one JSON-LD graph.
- A FAQPage block when the post has a real FAQ section.
- A sitemap, an RSS feed and llms.txt, generated from the same post list.
None of this is a ranking trick. It describes your pages accurately, which is what search engines and assistants need.
